Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do !!! I pray God will touch the hearts of our leaders and let them put enviromental issues ahead of economic issues and save Mother Earth from us. Luke

SILENT SCREAMS

I hear the voice of Mother Earth
As silently she screams
While man violently dismantles
All of natures dreams.

Yes , She screams in silence
But vicious winds roar
Across barren forests
Where eagles used to soar .

Yes , She screams in silence
While polar ice caps melt
All around the world
A fiery sun is felt .

Yes , She screams in silence
Man’s attack in every corner
Results stoking natures rage
Making man the final mourner .

Mother Earth’s no longer screaming
Vicious winds no longer roar
Man no longer lives here
Nature has evened up the score.

BRAVO and AMEN! The Mother Earth could not have stated this more poignantly herself. And "we" call it "progress?" What fools we humans are. Excellent write. Kindest Regards~ Kate

Your powerfully flowing
waterfall of words cascades
justly on all below.
I am reminded of the natural
law of our universe, the law
cause and effect. Powerful
message and you delivered it
with so much melody.

“POETRY BEGINS IN DELIGHT AND ENDS IN WISDOM.” – Robert Frost-

It is always a mind’s feeding time once one gets to this DEAN where the rituals of holy Poetry is duly observed. It is also a soul’s nourishing moment.

Once again I am feasting a poetic banquet despite the sad story recited to wake up the sleeping giant ~ known as MAN ~ and civilized being.

Thank You, Poet for posting this wisdom poetical flower.

Gratefully,

Poet, you know how to set rhythm under the drums of justice. This is a call to SANITY among mankind.

I admire a poet that stands for his mission; and yours, respectful poet is to honor Poetry and spread wisdom through the lines of your substantial poetic writings.
