I can see the storm ahead
beyond the watchtower a million dead.

The towns below set a blaze
bodies a skew in random ways.
Blood doth flow to the river bed
the dragon devours all that is dead.

He came from nowhere upon the gloom,
the lives below knew not their doom.
Hungrily he picked upon their bones,
torched their lives and burned their homes.

He rides upon the midnight hour
seeking all he will devour.
A scream of hate towards heaven's end
he glides the winds as he descends.

This evil beast, this awful hex
also known as Draconus Rex.
Rides upon the midnight hour
seeking all he will devour.

So my friends both young and old
fear the Wyrm from what you're told.
The stories all are based on truth
not from lies, or reckless youth.

This unclean thing from Hell's own gate
with one swift breath can seal your fate.
Through mortal time it has lived on
to breed and raise more Hellish spawn.

So although we see them not
they are amongst us this horrid lot.
Flying above in our very skies
and growing hungry for our demise.

So the prophecy has been foretold
and more will die before they're old.
And I can see all this ahead
beyond the watchtower a million dead.

A million dead.

Striking! Could be lyrics, the rhythm and rhyme is so well done!Still the horror is maintained!
