Illustrated men
parading tall down
the crowded boardwalk

followed by
these loud women
with prehensile hearts

high-heel symphonies
lead astray by the clangor
of homeless pushcarts

stunning bleached
smiling mouths
fade persistently
in a pinpoint of
toothless grins

screeching kids games
lose their strenght
in the tunnel of
disabled hearing

as the horizon
blushes with yet
another blunt reminder
of the less fortunate
among us.

The first verse made me think of a Caillebote painting for some reason! Love that...reminds me of walking down the boardwalk then coming upon some homeless people. I liked how you made this in short, tight lines.
