For Megan (Meggie) It may not be blood that makes us family, but it is certainly love... What I see for you Is laughter And joy Innocent dream And a love For God above. What I see for you Is dreams That will carry you far Memories of loved one's Who believe you Are a star. What I see for you Is laughter As you try To say you're prayers At the dinner table "Blah, blah Amen!" How I laughed When your Mamma Shared this with me! I see in you a child Who at two can look At me And say You are Auntie Michelle Duhuh, And put your little hands On your hips And a moment later Can crawl In my lap And beg for a story. I see in you A world of potential As I did in your brother And sister When they were little Now you are the baby But not much longer In July you will be three And I will always cherish these memories.
