"To love another person is to see the face of God."
-Les Miserables

.............................................................................

Last night I had the most mysterious dream

and love was vibrant in the air

mankind had all consented

to put an end to unjust war

I saw a field of wildflowers growing

brilliant and resplendent in color

and dandelions growing alongside

in technicolor row by row

and I felt my heart rippling with such joy and tenderness

as I saw it was your face amongst the flowers

and the spirit of God was hovering above us

while we tended our garden of roses with meticulous care

and we danced together in our marvellous meadow of love

with the universal stars shining ou your crowning glory

as I tied a daisy chain in your lovely hair

with our mesmerized eyes locked in magic embrace

we serenaded our moonlight tune

underneath the milky dew of time

as the lamps twinkled in the canopy of heaven

and the angels and cherubs sang of union and concord

our linked forms dissolved

with incredible and intense alacrity

within the secret veil of us

To look beyond the mystery into the face of LOVE is to stand and behold the never ending face of Creation. How could the angels possibly keep their voices silent? They are the voice of triumph in the grand scheme of all that is eternal unto the Divine Melody of Love. Beautiful writing dear one. :)

Peter . . .
This touched me deeply!

The image and the words seem perfectly symbiotic, and I felt the impetus to compose this was deep felt.

I love the line: "mankind had all consented"
The thought was provoking.
What a day that would be!
