" A loving heart is the true st wisdom. "

   Charles Dickens

....................................................................................

She hides behind the Sacred Veil

that covers insight from the profane

Wisdom from ages past and present

inlaid with precise distinction

between the good and bad

of what you perceive in your mind

We struggle and toil incessantly

for our very existence and survival

thinking that we know it all

but there is a vanishing point

when knowledge comes to an end

and the mysterious comes into clear view

For He has blinded the eyes of the wicked

and stopped the ears of the unjust

only those found with clean hands

and a heart that is pure and sound

shall be declared fit and able

to ascend the mountain of the Lord

The scrolls will be opened with a mighty roar

and the names of the chosen will be read out

war and hatred will be vanquished at a stroke

for sacred discernment will have its way

as we will progress

to see the Grand Reconciliation

when the Lion  lies down with the Lamb

Peter,
This section of your poem reached me.
"We struggle and toil incessantly

thinking that we know it all

but there is a vanishing point

when knowledge comes to an end

and the mysterious comes into clear view"

This is excellent visual and spiritual affirmation.

This reminds me of one of my favorite thoughts and meditations:

"Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it NOT; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall PRESERVE thee: love her, and she shall KEEP thee. Wisdom is the PRINCIPAL thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. EXALT her, and she shall PROMOTE thee: she shall bring thee to HONOUR, when thou dost EMBRACE her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of GRACE: a crown of GLORY shall she deliver to thee."

Proverbs 4:5-9 KJV 1611 :)

Right on the money Peter! Your perception of faith is what all man should strive to identify with. With fire and brimstone preaching so very many just turn their heads. Your subtle reasoning serves the purpose much better.
Peace and harmony,
Susan
