Excellant write and one so true, the majesty of some of natures largest and tallest living things is often taken for granted but this poem is a gentle reminder how special trees are.

I love the aspens...they are such a graceful tree and the way that the leaves "quake" in the breeze is mesmerizing. "I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree" - Kilmer..one of my favorite poems. Your words are beautiful and I have to agree that trees hold a very special place in my heart...their feet are rooted deeply in the earth yet their arms reach up to the heavens.
Take care,

Gloria . . . I agree, trees are very special creations, and one of our only renewal resources!
Beautiful image . . . I believe they are Aspens?
