" I am no styles.......but all styles

.................................................................

I will not be part of a splintered system

that kills the spirit and the soul

just because I was born into it

and that does not mean

I have to bow in reverence

and bend the knee to organised lies

or observe the hypothesis

of a once original master

which has been distorted

by the classical mess

for anything that does not feel right

has no mandate to exist in my heart

hypocrisy and humbug

are an anathema before my eyes

nor will I brook deception and guile

whose immediate and conspiratorial aim

is to deceive and trick the masses

I am a free thinker

with a will and divine power of my own

which will not be broken or restrained

by manipulative purveyors of doctrine and dogma

who have initiated and instigated

so much pain, distress and rancour

in this precious world that I cherish

I will not be bound or restricted

by rules and regulations of conformity

that seek to destroy my free will and sovereignty

I will defend until the day I die

that which I believe

my own personal relationship

with my one true  God

Good for you dear one. Defend all those things that are given to you by the Almighty. For what we cherish, we DO defend. And what we LOVE we protect with all we ARE. That is what gives our lives value both here and in the ages to come. LOVE. To live without loving with our entire soul is to breach the intent of Pure Love all together. And what is the value in loving if we let our Love go undefended? You have a beautiful heart. :)

"I am a free thinker"

And that's exactly what our Creator intended! I believe, Peter, that we are approaching a time when millions of people will be liberated from the brainwashing they've been subjected to all around the world. The veil will soon be lifted from our eyes! I applaud your inspirational writing.

Love & Light,
Joseph

Both Mission Statement and Personal Credo, I applaud such well- analysed self-knowledge and perception. We are what we believe, I think. Trouble is perhaps we spend too much time sorting out WHO we are first, and then try to make our beliefs match up - rather than sorting out what our personal Truths are and then realising that it is THEM who shape the what we are. Black, white and with little room for grey, your visual is highly appropriate. Very well written, Peter. TY Kate xx

When our life is through there is not going to be a bunch of people there accepting responsibility for the way we have lived our life, it will be just us and our Maker. With that said, we must each hold true to the life that we believe is right for us and let the others do as they may.
Take care,
Sherry

Bravo!!!!
You are a free spirit and so am I and a lot of people here and elsewhere. This world would be full of clones if not for diversity. I hate doldrums, stagnate air and monotony. I say every person for their own beliefs. It took me 40 years to find my niche and much scrutiny with every religion. I'm happy now and anyone who wants to step up to the bat when I pitch is free to swing or balk.
Amen Peter!
YOU have my vote!

"manipulative purveyors of doctrine and dogma"

The world is rife with this scum Peter, and since the beginning always has been!

There are too many ideas taught as truth in this bloody world, and a plethora of political, philosophical and moral groups trying to anesthetize the groping masses with ephemeral ideologies and half-truths.

Free will can, and does, take too many into the readily accessible dark sensual realms of whim.

Powerful expression here friend!

Kudos
Richard

Halleluia, Peter , right on !!!.. God, you spoke to my soul deep, deep, Peter.. This is so true, if we all could only see the sometimes deception that lays within the organized institutions, period. When I see it, I just simply see such rigidity within them, control and manipulation, yet not all of their institutions are about control. And I can spot a phony a mile away.. The institutions have long controlled mankind’s lives to the point where the deception truly can often be seen for it’s radical dysfunction and it’s institutions. We are a soul. We have the freedom to celebrate our souls and find our own truest redemption in whichever way we feel is right for us. All of the great masters were indeed prophets sent from God to be His mouth piece. Why are there not more true ones that speak directly from God these days??? Oh I have seen some, and I have felt the genuine purpose of the prophetic voice. And they did not appear to be controlling over it’s doctrines or followers, yet we all have to be on guard. This poem speaks powerfully about the freedom and the awareness of freedom in the human spirit in every type of institution. Peter, this was an excellent write and I know you put your all in it.. Makes alot of people think about the organized institutions, their propaganda, purpose, and some deception..Great thought here!!
