From my tiny window at twenty-thousand feet
pools of aqua mingle with endless rocky cliffs.
So still, my heart responds and
I reach for the steady gentle hand to my right,
tracing his lips with a knowing smile.
With each measured beat distractions fade
while reflections cradle my unspoken thoughts,
of spirited colors of an alluring sunset to
the soothing water of hypnotic melodies.
I pass by- without wings to descend
thirsty to find the beginning of the wind.
How stimulating is the landscape of the world; I thought.
Yet the scenery to the right of me leaps off the page
tracing my lips with a gentle kiss...

|Well, yes! Of course that scenery to the right of you "all but leaps off the page," it would be strange if it didn't. Wonderful, kinda strange, poem of love.|
