The hardest wall I've ever climbed is the one I could not see
Built there by this old love who loved unconditionally
But all the same in love's own game it's when the wall kept blocking
The very path that brought it down but alas! It kept on mocking
The pain was real and made me look upon all the crude hard doubt
Of love that came and built this wall then put its own love out
For love can hold on for a lifetime and never let you go
But when you hide behind a wall then you really ...never know
The beauty of a fuller heart is when it never yearns
It doesn't recognize the pain until it starts to burn
Freedom gives us every breath we take unconsciously
But with his wall it hid away and died more with each beat
Of a rhythm made one of a kind...for it's defeat!

"Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose", seems that lyric becomes more relevant to me everyday as it pertains to relationships. Part of the irony of life. Indeed, well said and well

Rhyming sensation that reflects the anti love sustaining effect that some put up around there hearts to keep love from touching them. Well said Susan.

Causes me to think of Pink Floyd, don't ya know? Still, walls are built for a variety of reasons. To keep people from seeing things they din;t want them to see. To keep people imprisioned? But the worse wall, in a lot of respects, is that one that seals loves demise. Well written.
