Senryu was written upon watching the rain fall over our home in drought-stricken Australia.

Raindrops are falling
down!  Soaking our attention
Away daily woe

It's like mercy, huh? And such a respite to me, creates a quiet where you can't help but go within. May the rains continue to
bless your continent, Suz. Your writes are so meditative. They give one pause in a hectic day...

There is a deeply felt significance in the experience of rain, It can somehow command our attention, get inside us and renew our inner being. Excellent write, enjoyed Pierre.

Admitting a fresh new vision of an inspiring green view. The window sparkles again after the rain beads cleanse the panes of the dormant soul after a long drought of mind and land.

I visited Australia a few years ago in the dead middle of your summer and I REMEMBER the dry heat there! My goodness, rain is a welcome sight to most places but the people there appreciate it a little more than most do - I believe - because they are faced with the harshness of the heat and sun much more than other countries. Your verse reminded me of my trip there and I just had to smile. Thank you dear one. Peace to you and yours always. :)
