Share Print Save Become a Fan A war between the Somali Islamic clerics and warlords has just ended in Mogadishu after a fierce battle between the two factions in which 300 persons were killed and some 900 wounded. The clerics won the upper hand, much to the chagrin of the warlords and their supporters.
They were the warlords of this century They killed, wounded and raped Somalia In their hands thousands had perished They were terrorists of the worst kind They had clashed with Islamic clerics In a disgraceful exit they were chased Many a civilian died in cross shooting Blood of innocent spilled with impuntiy Some say America supported the warlords Can a terrorist be used to capture a terrorist? Or America has re-defined its "War on Terror" Can the tree of democracy bear fruits of oppression? ��

America's support of these thieves and murderers is ludicruous considering these very crooks were responsible for not only bringing downn their own nation but also dragging US dead bodies on the streets. Dear Bro. Abdi-Noor you have hit upon a point that is not a moot one. Many Americans have to stop making All Islamists the boogeyman with their choice of an inquistion mentality. It is still the innocents who ultimately pay the price for the missteps of the mighty whether they be Islamists, Christians,Jews, Atheist, or Agnostic. I trust your visions and share your dream for Somalia and the world. Those who profit from wars are the ones to watch. Peace, love, blessings, and gratitude for sharing your courage and thoughts.
