'Wishing Poem' is a poem
from the second part of ' The Universal Woman-/ Cyber Blues Love*

Sometimes I wished I could
'shake loose my skin'
to quote Sonia Sanchez
just like the jungle snake
to put it aside as a reminder
of the past, the pain and the scars
as well as all the bright moments
to refresh the present over and over
and focus on the future with a smile
to see the beauty in you
as I see it within myself
to love with generosity and
only one condition, honesty
to surrender without fear
and welcome each morning
with a receptive mind and
each night with a peaceful soul
turning the challenges of life
into a beautiful bouquet of
passion flowers

I did not choose poetry-poetry chose me!
