This is just beautiful, Eileen. We indeed were truely blessed with our fathers. We learned so much about love and strength and how to pass it on. You pass on with so much elegance and beaty,

| Loving fathers shower patriarchal blessing in more places than in just the homes they are a part of... they impart a legacy with far-reaching effects into the wider family and community as they present an accurate representation of the godly Father Heart. You have captured this and all aspects of the Fatherheart vision in this write, Eileen, and show that good fathering fosters well-rounded individuals of both sex. I feel "safe" and blessed beyond measure when I come within the radius of a man who is exercising that Father heart. Each and every one of them is precious. TY for this, LOL Kate xx |

Beautiful write!! My dad was also a very giving man and was much loved by all. He was not perfect and he had his failings, but his core was love. Pure and simple. You've blessed all of us with this loving poem, Eileen...

Eileen, I always love the inspirational message in your poems. For me this line stuck home: "Another 'If you expect love, peace, and joy in
the world, live it regardless of what others do.'"
You are very lucky to have had such a great dad. And I suspect it is the source of your true strength. ~ Sara

A beautiful tribute for your father, Eileen! I lost my father when I was 16, long time back...incidentally today was his anniversary (Bengali Calender).
Thanks for sharing your work!

I agree with Jude Eileen. Some of us were not as blessed. Such are the mysteries of living.
"The path of promise covered in rainbows" is a vividly rich image that was a blessing to read.
Peace out!

My father was the same. He never said anything bad about anyone . His stone says, "He never met a stranger". We sure even grew up alike. This triubute could be to my own father.

Eileen
You were indeed blessed with such a loving and humanitarian father...like I was too !
Key passage to me is definitely " Nothing or no one can be trusted more than Creator's spirit within you "
Pin that statement on the dashboard of your car for daily encouragement...;)
