Melting into the Self

I dreamed of melting,

No fire or heat present,

My mind did simply ooze,

To the next realm it was sent…

Through a door to I know not where,

My spirit companion a wayward bear,

We really did make a cumbersome pair,

Free falling did both of us scare…

Breathing hard,

The bear my bard,

Every now and then we played cards,

Of glass there were penetrating us, shards…

To sleep would be of favor,

Awake every hour to of this dream savor,

Our images did as we fell seem to waver,

The whirlpool would make a great screen saver…
