The most original book
in the world
is the loverís heart.
It disparages all books,
and over their core
lingers an infinite beauty
- a happiness sublime,
and keep alive
the memories and hope
of a better day ahead.
Ah! How obviously initial
they are to their authors.
The light in the eclipse,
the sap in the cactus,
every truth, every form
seems to persuade to it.
But men seem to forget
that all literature is ephemeral,
and make vain the gift of God.

All literature is ephemeral, and make vain the gift of God... and both the gift and the Word are eternal. Beautiful words complimented by a delightful sculpture, too. It is with great relief that I note your visits to the Den... perhaps sadly spasmodic these days, but wonderful to have your presence in spirit and "enduring" words!! :)) I am starting to have some normality back in my life at last and will look forward to re-establishing contact. I'm sorry that things have been so disrupted and I have had no news to go on. Trusting that things are as well with you as might be hoped, prayed or expected at this time. Will be in touch! LOL Kate xx

These verses lift the spirit, Bhuwan, as does God's eternal and unconditional love. Beautiful poetry.
