L O V E


Wondrous mystical thing called love,
interesting word that can’t be defined,
possessing an angelic gift from above,
more than the simple, you are mine.

Passionate feeling beyond all compare,
defying logic, controlling every emotion,
creating a oneness of spirit seldom shared,
consuming every breathe with devotion.

A captivating essence so true and rare,
filled with desire of tantalizing illusion,
entangled in ecstasy for those who dare,
love without faith bring only confusion.

True love is not found in lustful desire,
it dwells in the hearts that are captured,
where faith and trust energizes the fire,
creating the magic of blissful rapture.

Love's memorizing, consuming power,
not everyone gains it's glowing insight,
sadly, greed and self pity often devour,
this undefinable key to the eternal light.
