Yesterdays and Tomorrows

MANY TOMORROWS HAVE ... COME AND GONE
AFTER EACH SUNSET ... COMES A NEW DAWN
YESTERDAYS ARE LEFT... FAR BEHIND
WITH EACH TOMORROW ... NEW THINGS WE FIND
THE DARKNESS OF NIGHT ... BETWEEN EACH DAY
WHAT TIRES US TODAY ... IS SLEPT AWAY
YESTERDAY'S MEMORIES... REMAIN IN OUR MIND
SOME FOREVER ... SOME FORGOT IN TIME
SWEET MEMORIES OF YOUTH ...LINGER THE LONGEST
WHEN SPIRITS WERE FREE ... HOPES OF THE FUTURE WERE STONGEST
THERE ARE NOW MORE YESTERDAYS ... THAN TOMORROWS TO COME
SO LIVE TODAY ... THE BEST IT CAN BE DONE

Hi Ron,

I like this poem. It;s a little melancholy but all the same it speaks wisely of life.

I returned home last night and back to work today. I enjoyed my family and some really fine cooks on my daughter-in-laws side.

Where are you these days? Still in the Smokies?
