I saw a star
Twinkle so very far away
Yet its glow that took so long to come
Arrived today!

I saw a toothless grin
On my 2 month old granddaughter
It took 8 weeks to form
but it arrived today.

I am being taught patience
Because the good things take time
But are worth the wait
I await today’s arrivals.
