Where am I, this morning
Fogged over, from an impromptu party
Lasting til the wee hours
No sleep again
It's Saturday- and I gotta work
Up early
Not enough coffee
Not enough Excedrin
Smoking my last cigarette
Still have to make breakfast
For my friends, who stayed
Concientious, as I am
Wouldn't let them drive
And get ready for work
For now, it's quiet
On the porch, ofcourse
Wanting.....needing, really
That certain, special touch
But out of reach
Showered, shaved
Hair wild...and no make up
YET!
Perfumed and oiled
(Do ya think I'm sexy?)

*yeah...i thought about not posting this one. was kinda depressing. but it reminds me, i'm human. with all the human attributes of.."oh hell...i can have a bad day!" but, it's only one day in the course of forever. not bad odds if you look at it. i'd still put money on me, at the track......and the best part...it's the truth for all of us....life is what you make it..make it count! .......hugs and love and better dayz...k

You remind us we are all too human..! I've seen too many of my days like this.I think getting past this is to not be so perfectionistic. We tend to all adopt sometime or another to that trait.I've come so far in giving myself a break lately.I just say, jo's going to feel like ---- today..!!!!!!!! hee hee hee..Great write, Krissy, from the heart.I'm glad we chatted too.
