What happened to the little boy
I use to know
The one who could laugh easily
And make me laugh with him
Now he is so sad and forlorn
A five year old
Should not be that way.

What happened to the memories
We made
When the world was your's
And I was your Auntie
And that is all that mattered
That and Jesus
Now you stand back
And climb into yourself
And Lord that hurts me
The little boy he use to be
Is slowly being stripped away
By circumstances beyond his control.

Lord I am praying for
Little Boy blue
My precious nephew
Bring him back to his
Where he knows he is loved
An does not feel
As if he needs to
Build a wall
Around himself.

Author's Comments:
"My nephew was put into foster care last year, when he didnt need to be but the Child Welfare services came in and took him from his Mother who showered him in love, and put him into foster care, where he has been shoved from foster home to foster home, and they have him on meds that we really do not believe he needs, and because of the meds he is builting a wall around himself and he is hard to reach, he will still come to me, and to my Mom and his Mother of course, but people he has known all of his life he has pushed away, and the once brave little boy has become scared of his shadow, I am asking everyone to join me in praying that he gets returned home to his Mamma for good, and that he slowly lets that wall he is building around himself crumble, I am going to have him for a night next week for a visit, as his Mother has him for four nights next week again, and she wants him to spend time with all his family so when he does come home he is not thrown into something he is not ready for, please pray, he did fine here today, but he was not the same little boy, anyone who is willing to pray please pray God Bless Michelle!"

Poor little guy! I hope he reunites with his mother very soon. Those children's Aid Society sometimes do make the wrong decisions.

I will be praying for both him and his mother.
