If through mist at first dawn light
or dense and lonely fog
or colors strewn about the void
If through sheltered thoughts unfurled
or shadows of an unseen world
in muted silence less the noise

This moment captured
This soul that flies
into the rapture
of un-ending joy
that feels
so deep
and dives beyond
any note
in all the songs
that ever played
in love or war

If only for a minute
or this moment locked in time
or just the postcard of a memory
If in a breath we’d fly away
without the binding anchors
Locked in ecstasy

This gift that we’ve been offered
These special wings we share
fly high and far
They strip us bare
down to
the core
and leave no more
of anything
in all this world
that ever was
In love or war

I was painting while you were busy composing this and the last poem you wrote. So often we create together in our own unique spaces and yet together in perfect harmony. How many Saturday mornings have we spent in this place...you playing on your keyboards and me composing?

This is incredible Cuddles!!! I don't have the words to express my awe. It is as if it came from the deepest place within you. A place that holds so many wondrous treasures and I'm blessed to be a witness to the discovery of one after the other.
I love you!

Phew. Glad to hear it ain't the flying saucers, and head bound tea pots...

Has the feel of a modern classic...If that makes sense..
