Forgive that I was tickled by another's retribution. Not my usual, but the beginning justifies the end for 'The Player'...

A public health warning, that's what you need
the amount of hearts you've caused to bleed.
The conceit of someone who consciously knows
they're deriving pleasure from destroying souls.
Epidermically speaking you're exceedingly deep
so don't sit before me and pretend to weep,
casting your opinions out, like they matter
when you grab someone's world and then shatter
all that they have come to trust,...
because your only desire was to satisfy your lust.

A rogue, a cad and other names much worse
befit your status.  Cowards I really do curse
because they steal souls and time
leaving nothing but devastation behind.
So go see a doctor to fix your fat head,
talk to them of false loneliness in your heart and head,
then try to look at the damage you've caused,
it's the only hope you have of being cured.
If she's female - oh God help her!
You're there for help - not her number! Remember?!

Walk in saying, I need help, lots, please cure me
You say you want it! Reassure me
there is more to you than flesh, blood and bone
show all those you've hurt you can be strong alone,
it would be nice then to find reasons for you to live
making it easier for us all to forgive.
My instinct tells me these words are a waste
and for the newest poor soul, it's already too late.
Now the only way to stop wearing the food of your lovers -
don't make them angry being caught kissing others.

Oh how I laughed at the picture you painted -
your pristine white shirts hot chilli beef tainted.
These days your sadness really does not matter
so the thought of your suits hanging in tatters
and discovering maturing blue cheese in your underpants drawer
made me absolutely howl out loud even more.
The fact that you were mad really did make me smile
Well! ...she really got you back for the rest of us in real style.
So here you are, back again, saying you adore me,
...sorry my friend, but now, you're beginning to bore me!
