I can believe anything provided it is incredible."
--Oscar Wilde

INK IN LUNA'S EYE

A silhouette against the moon
As raven flew on high
Above the breeze she soared
The ink in luna's eye

Then across transparent clouds
She scrawled upon the night
Her missive of a clemency
Authored on the heights

Backdrop glowing stars
The skies became her stage
As she traveled on
Across the heaven's page

Upon the white her message read
But blended lost in on blue
Yet she still wrote between the clouds
And on her message flew

Read with your heart

 Can read between the clouds
When raven inks the skies
Know her message is of peace
With olive branch on rise

A beautifully rendered construct of peace to the Roman moon goddess.

Beautiful line: "Her missive of a clemency, Authored on the heights."

OH YES! Poetic honey!

You are a force to be reckoned with dear Anita. I always enjoy what you do.

Anita you have written a small piece of the universe into this wonderful poem that paints the night skies, it does speak to the people to look to the heavens and perhaps the beauty will humble them just a little.
