Dreams change and shift
in the glimmering ripples we call
life.  Eternally a silent gift
waiting for reality to befall -
with their foundations built on
something brave and small,
as hope cements all things gone
before, bonding so creation cannot fail.

Fate may be predetermined not
to allow such supposition to grow,
stealing time in trivial ways but
always ensuring that it can show
neither are a forceful actuality that
validate reality's pure glow.
Silently both challenge only that
they know...the truth of inner battle
a tormented to and fro.

Aspiration wields its power then
boldly in a lake of frenzied screams
attacks the invisible enemies when
it arrives like a riptide in the stream
of everyday life.  Surging on and on
until hope can bind their seams,
urging life to push onward and then
all combined they explode into another
sea of dreams.

Graphic image and verses complement one another perfectly, Panda. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and peace,

The image perfectly compliments your thoughts, dear Panda, and also represents so much in itself - rough raw forces of nature, enigmatic shapes, possibilities, fear of being involved, death, exhilaration, and the blending of colors in life.

"Glimmering ripples" is a beautiful way of saying ephemeral, extrapolating those transient qualities of living as fuel for the creative mind.

Like those diamonds in the sunlight that dance on a wind tossed body of water, there for an instant and then gone, life is utterly similar and requires, as dear Eileen Waldron postulates, the ability for us to remain steadfast during the adventure as a means to continue on.

Never rest your insightful quill Poet!
And also . . . thankyou!

There is such intensity here Panda..much like the metaphor of the ocean rip tide or the cyclic nature of life thrusting us ever in a different direction and often unexpected tangent of dreams and fate colliding...."into another sea of dreams". Your words always touch a special part of me...and this one makes me think...past , present, future.
Happy Birthday!
Love,
Taylor

Panda
I like this immensely...

A subtle change of style for you here....and it works.....and it has a surging positiveness and vibrancy ensuing throughout the wording..

And the powerful graphic compliments the composition perfectly..

Peter
