Some may think me a religious nut
no peanuts if you please

for they are acidic to the body
make it difficult to get on my knee's

I like to share the WORD with you
read, don't read that's you're choice

But if I can bring a little hope and cheer
that doth make my soul rejoice

So pass around the Pecan Pie
I'll have a slice of that

Write me, ring me, msn me
I love to avachat

I come from the land downunder
where the Gum tree grows

They have little nuts on them
and are often picked off by the crows

I'll never bash you round the head
with religion, that's fair dinkum true

I'd rather load my walnut sling
to fire straight at you....haha

Almonds are the best sustainer
when sugar issues present

But I don't make paste from them
so of my love you'll not resent

In fact I'm not a nut at all
apparently I'm a fruit

Small, Round, Red, stewed up
in pastry...and delish to boot!!

LOL I love this write, and though I don't participate in religion I don't knock others that do, although I am finding hard to tolerate some rants lately (not you). Hope all is well with my sweet Cherry Pie.

Hi Ch'erie, A nut I never thought you to be, no siree, but ah, a cherry pie, yes, that's more like it. In these traumatic times, it's best to keep going with a little humor. You provide that nicely.

God Bless
Love, Lena

Pecan Pie Sounds Wonderful! And you folks Down Under are usually Quite Interesting to read. I just watched The World's Fastest Indian about Mr. Munro from the southernmost tip of New Zealand - and he was quite a fascinating gentleman.
