There Was A Man...
=====================================
There was a man, who lived his life with guilt hanging over his head,
Everything that he said and everything that he did would leave him worrying about the consequences and the scandal inside him hid.
Cause if he didn’t act the way he was set
If he didn’t do what was right.
He would betray the scared cause.
It would unleash the wrath of God.
And so he went, and day by day in agony he lived in shame.
Everything that he thought and every act that he’d carry out would leave him sorry about the deception he was bad without a doubt
He was such an evil man
Cause he didn’t always do good
He betrayed the scared cause.
He unleashed the wrath of God.
Do you know this man?
Have you seen him?
Does he look you in your eyes?
In the mirror with his lies?
And then the man, had passion sparked with one anew but not with her.
Everything that brought him guilt and everything that gave him shame would without explanation soon deceased without explanation not remain.
Is he such a wicked man?
Even if he committed sin?
He enjoyed the taste of passion.
And where is the wrath of God?
Do you know this man?
Have you seen him?
Does she look you in your eyes?
In the bed where she lies?
There is a man, who used to lived his life with guilt hanging over his head,
Everything that brings him life and every freedom that he knows leaves him with guiltless nights of knowing that love around him grows.
What a joyful man is he.
In his mind there are no fears.
In a world that should bring guilt.
And bring down the wrath of God.
Do you know this man?
Have you seen him?
Does he look you in your eyes?
In the comfort that he lies?
