Music is a universal voice. Poetry is too, for that matter. You have created a verse that fits well in both categories, Eileen. This poem speaks truth and is very well written.
Love,
Jill
P.S. I think we are somewhat on the same wavelength today, though I chose to honor those who "play" the music. |

Eileen, I write almost every piece with music playing in the background... I am a huge fan of piano instrumentals and I let my mind crift as I write. Your poem speaks to me.. and by the way, I love the couplet rhyming..)

Enchantment comes in many ways
Especially without music play
Haha!! Just had to doe that, you know how I am about all that distraction filling my limited gray matter as I am trying to read poems. Yes, I do turn it down, but even that is a distraction. I know. I know. Grumpy old fart . . . we . . . man.
It is true, however, about music. In its place music has a wonderful affect on people Id, and some that is not so wonderful. You poem took the best music has to offer man and you explained it with pazzaz |

You and I on the same page today, Eileen; while your notes are beautifully presented in verse and Midi, mine are discordant notes of pain. Really feeling it today...and really loved your beautiful concert. :) BRAVA!

| This poem clearly explains how music touches when the keys are played with great harmony. A love song once threw a king into the dancing stage and admitted that the power of music was more powerful than his majestic powers. Great poem. God Bless you Queen |

Oh Eileen. . . . . . . .
Please tell me what you've seen
Angel Wings. . . . . . .
Tongues spoken with words to sing
Music you play
Enchantment you send my way
To the start of now - what has become - a new day.
