I'm so sated after our loving
Softly I brush my lips across yours
So I can breathe you in, I try not
To wake you, but your tongue darts out
To touch mine and we kiss goodnight
A thought came to mind that  I would
Be content if the world ended now
A gentle breeze through the window
I breathe a sigh of refreshment
I whisper  to the angels for sleep
And thanks to the God of happiness
That in this chaotic, suffering world
We can still find times of fulfillment

Exhilarating to know. . . .
FULFILLMENT. . . .
and contentment. . . .
Still exist.
Anyone never experiencing it should now have hope.

This speaks so much of inner contentment in many ways. "...I breathe a sigh of refreshment..." The words and the picture blend so beautifully. Wow Eileen, wherever you are right now should be bottled and sold. Panda ;)

When the poet decides to transmute contentment . . . Even the reader becomes sated. VERY good.
