Muses and Rain and other Elements.

dancing the fine line
of the final threshold
drinking in life's wine
taste the liquid gold.

spinning through oblivion
like a spring thunderstorm
past ruins of Pompeii and Zion
eternally masked, forlorn.

it is in these day dreams
these cognizant doodles
in the cool June schemes
stirred and served in oodles

that, when singing tunes
by night-time fire light
about Celt's and Ancient Runes
we journey towards true sight

so sleep away thy dances
and put down thy muse voice
stop storm with rain's trances
and turn face from thy vice

for these are days of future
all present is past tense
take joy in all that's culture
and enjoy your days forth hence

and when you dance the fine line
upon that final threshold
remember life's like drinking wine
and it's better served when its age is old.
