FRIENDSHIP IS FREEDOM

Friendship is a wonderful source of feeling free

Speak our minds and it lets us be

Who we are, with who we’re with

This, to me is one of friendships’ greatest gifts.

If one is trying to be funny, but not taken so,

Would want my friend to tell me so.

Not to sit and dwell and let anger rise,

To be expeditious would be wise.

If it’s someone you care for and you know cares for you,

Then how about some compassion in interpreting your view.

Before one gets angry, consider benefit of doubt,

And, perhaps that would help work it out.

But, by all means if feelings are hurt,

Talk to your friend face-to-face to straighten it out.

Linda,

Very wise words. Good friends are so hard to come by. Best to keep those we have.
