"Drop Me A Feather"

To all the birds out there
That sees me passing by
With your watchful eyes
Watching all that come and go
With spots upon your wings
You flutter down
And we seek the magic
Of love without the pain
A love so pure and true
So clearly in my head
And as I dream of pleasant things
Of satin gowns and wide rim hats
A bouquet of red roses in my hand
O’ Seagull my friend

Drop me a feather so long
I will keep that treasure
Drop it with love onto my hand
I need your feather under my pillow
It will make me feel better I know
And when the sun goes down on me
And the world grows dim around me
I will go aboard my ship of dreams
And sail away… sail far away
To my love… and dream
And make believe it’s true
Thoughts I know all in my head
Just drop me your feather!

Lovely thoughts of persevering through the ups and downs in life's battlefield.

Feathers could also be a metaphor for honest and open communication.

This was a pleasant departure for you dear Tinks, and reflects those confidant desires that you refuse to let go of.
