Sharkies night out...

Just went out for a few humans with the boys,

Didn’t expect much the surface above rough,

The way the waves were crashing & making noise,

We thought not a human would be tough enough…J

Just cruisin’ along I spied me a chunk of meat,

Who’d of thought inside the meat there would be a hook,

But the meat acted like it was about to run,

Being three humans to the wind already,

I was not ready when it a little shook…J

I couldn’t control myself, I was in a frenzy,

Must have been that last guy I ate, I think his name was MacKenzie,

I just swooped right over and gobbled down that meat chunk,

And before I knew it, the hook had me innards,

From there on while be reeled in, I was in a blue funk…J

I thought about how pissed my mate would be,

She said be careful of humans, that is what she told me,

Now look at me, hanging like a Christmas tree,

Look at that young human beaming, probably have me stuffed,

Better that though than going home to my mate and being rebuffed…J

Living on the coast and having four brothers...we all went to the Shark Fishing Tournements.

This shark is a nice one . Your poem says it all from the sharkey's point of view.

Wow, that was one awesome write, we do feel for the poor fellow, if he prefers to be stuffed instead of rebuffed.... :)

It's gotten to the point where a fella can't even go out with the boys anymore without being hassled by someone. Damned Shame, if you ask me.
