The words she spoke
Were important
To her
The very articulation
Of the terrible testimony
That she described
Had given them mass
In her realm
But they were
Completely untrue
Flat and razor thin
And when they left
Her careless mouth
They got hung on the wind
And around the world
They still blow
Howling low
Cold and ugly
Leaving their hurtful misinformation
Like an epidemic of disease
Upon every being
Who makes contact
Nothing I can do
I can’t even save myself
Just don’t look that way
Let it be
And maybe for an instant
The wind will cease

My Secret Obsession

very nice ...i like it.

Powerful literary judgement upon the tendency to judge too quickly and erroneously. Love the bite or irony and the image of untruth taking on a brutal reckless life of its own.

Blue,

Never let assumptions win over you! Sometimes, people just make assumptions on what they hear and read about another person, and then go on to accuse this other person of which the things he/she writes that has no bearing of what the they (the readers) think.

Powerful and frightening in the images that you portray, almost as if you know you must go forward but fear what may lay ahead. Well done Blue.
