Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning...

Let The Healing Begin

By

h. lena jones

So you’ve had the stuffing knocked out of you

In an argument, an illness, or

The parting from a mate

The pain is great

You feel like dying

Life is not worth living

So you sing the blues

“And now…the end has come…there is no way…

to ease the burden…’cause when…”

Okay, okay, enough, enough

Away with the tears

And pitiful song

‘Tis time to bury the pain

And change the tune

From dirge to rhapsody

You chose the key

Don’t wait until you think you’re ready

Push yourself and let the healing begin

‘Tis true this you cannot do alone

Engage the help of a trusted friend

Nay, nay not an ordinary friend

The Friend who can without

Doubt mend a broken heart

And glue the pieces back together

Without leaving ugly scar tissue

You see He’s got a whole new tomorrow

Shiny and bright as a fresh minted penny

Ready and waiting just for you!

“Weeping may endure for a night,

but joy cometh in the morning.”

(Psalm 30:5)

“Ah yes…the pain has gone…and I

did it…His way!”

Precious!
