Matthew 13:15 "For the heart of this people has grown dull.Their ears are hard of hearing and their eyes they have closed'"

My copious tears fell like a rosary
Cascading over a war torn world
Trying to drown away the misery
Refreshing the injured bringing
The dead back to life restoring
The infrastructure like superman
Reversing all the damage done
And just as I began to be thankful
The rockets exploded over head
In a barrage of deadly destruction
Just constant in their intent to defeat
No one able to halt the ungodly terror
While people kept arguing that one side
Should stop the bombing, and they would
But no one was saying anything about
Rockets that were raining  in the skies
Brutalizing a nation,held under siege
Has the world truly gone mad or is
TV Media winning the war for terrorists
Now I know what the dull hearts are seeing
And the apathetic are hearing, surely not
The same war  I'm seeing and hearing!

I'm sorry Huda, but the latest figures show about 1600 injured on both sides and of the dead yes Lebanon has more but why are the Hezbollah (who I am against not the Lebanese people ) putting their rockets in buildings where families with children live. so they can win a propaganda war, because they can't win as soldiers. If you are for the Hezbollah then I don't know you! I'm not for this war, but I sure as hell don't believe a word the terroristrs say. Not when they can strap bombs on little children and let them get blown up for their distorted cause!  Why doesn't that bother you?!? No one else but the maniacal terrorists do that and yet you defend them?

Eileen, God bless you and your powerful truth and courage. Huda, God
bless you and your powerful compassion.

People change - not the Creator - there is no degree or shadow of turning in Him...
God chose Israel as His Own People - He will achieve His Purpose.

I ditto Karla, 'Even so come quickly, LORD Jesus! May we be found worthy of entering into Thy kingdom.........'

A timely and powerful write and it does bring tears to the eyes, while it settles deep inside, troubling the soul with the images of all those suffering who should just live free and happy.

Oooh Eileen these are thought provoking words, conjuring such strong images in my head. I fear so much for my children's future and those innocents from other nations...fanaticism and bigotry breed such vile animals. I agree with Victor that war should not be the answer...but will there ever be a voice of reason?...Panda :)

i'm sure glad this is my last round around here ... i can't take the suffering and destruction anymore ... perhaps the purpose of war is to evolve beyond it ... perhaps when civilization is about to destroy itself it will finally recognize the futility of settling differences through violence? ... i sincerely hope so ...

Yes, Eileen, the last two comments are Hezbollah backers. You are screaming into the wind of orchestrated b.s.

The Israeli strike killed and displaced civilians in Lebanon, not Hizbollah fighters.

Surely you can see the aggression on the Israeli side in this conflict, firing indiscriminately at civilians and UN peacekeepers.

No one is defending Hizbollah here and I haven't read a word by Huda defending them. She is crying out for the Lebanese civilians, whom until today's massacre, were considered just collateral damage.

Hizbollah strap bombs to their bodies because in this asymmetrical war they don’t have tanks, jets and nuclear weapons like Israel.

I join my prayers for peace with Huda, the prophet of peace.

God bless - Mich

In Lebanon 750 people - mainly civilians - have been killed by Israeli action some by phosphorous incendiary bombs. Those are the facts.

Only today 60 civilians died including 37 children in Qana.

In Israel, however, a total of 51 Israelis were killed, icluding 33 soldiers and 18 civilians.

I wonder who is the blind and deaf in this war?

Praying that peace will prevail and spare the civilian lives.

An excellent summary quote, and very applicable to this season we are slogging through.

Michele and I were, just today, talking about the same thing. The damn media is so bloody damn biased ... if we believed them, Israel is the bully blowing up everyone, and killing everyone, the country with no conscious, the nation that has no concern for anything except wanton killing of innocents. I hate the spirit of the media in this country! They are propogating hatred and anti-semitism.

The media is pitting the American public against each other. The whole process is cajoling every weirdo faction to come out of hiding to propogate their own convoluted agenda, which will invariably lead to utter anarchy.

I'm sorry ... but I've never seen such prejudice when it comes to the Israelis. This is truly a season that is not only catastrophic, but also the most ignorant I have ever seen.

Every emotion I have, you have... and every tear is joined with so many others who are in pain and fear the news tomorrow. This is the beginning of doom if the majority don't do something. The whole world is focused on this war now and a few are callong the shots to end all living.

I cry with you.
Love and peace!
