“Paranoia in the worst case, I’d say.

Women are nourishers,

Or we can be the worst thing

That ever happened to you when we're upset.

Poor Babeeeeee, This Edward Exasperated!!!”

Susan de Vegter

When Rufuz, the President of Dog Gone Good, Inc.,

Got This Message Regarding Our Edward Exasperated

He Chuckled to Himself and He Eagerly Began Writing

That’s How Edward’s First Spin-off Comic Was Created

-Intro-

Welcome to the Hellish World

Of an easy going dog loving man

Who just wanted to live in quiet peace

But far too many females had other plans

First there was his demanding mother

Then there was his very domineering wife

Then a female cop and his old neighbor lady

All of these females truly delighting in his strife

When Edward Exasperated

Just couldn’t take it any more

He packed up an old duffel bag

And he fled southward out the door

A few joyous emancipated days later

Sitting in a diner searching the want ads

Edward soon found a new chauffeur’s job

But alas his new boss already seems mad

“Edward, don’t drive too fast;

Edward, don’t drive too slow;

Edward, get out that darned road map;

You don’t even know where I want to go!”

“Yes, Miss Susan…”

“Edward, you forgot to pick up my dry cleaning;

Edward, you neglected to wash and wax this car;

Edward, you seem to have far too little ambition;

Edward,  I seriously doubt that you’ll go very far.”

“Yes, Miss Susan…”

So it seems that in this comic book spin-off

Edward Exasperated is still being a tad harassed

You might want to get this collector’s first edition soon

We here at DPS Comics think that these will go very fast

Miss Susan Has Graciously Accepted

Our Invitation to Join Us on the Ghost Cruise

Where She’ll Be Signing Copies of Her New Comic

“Yes, Miss Susan…”

But We Don’t Know if Edward Will Still Be Assisting Her

He Just Can’t Seem To Hold Any Job For Very Long We Fear

He May Be Heading West for a Gardener’s Job Being Advertised

By Yet Another Female – an AD Member - By the Name of Reindeer

So Our Rufuz Has Graciously Informed Miss Susan

That if She Needs Any Help At All On the Ghost Cruise

She Can Utilize His Faithful Old Human Sidekick Matlack

Even if She Has to Wake Him Up From Yet Another Snooze

“Matlock, Get Over Here – Now,

And Carry All This Luggage!”

“Yes, Miss Susan…

And, uh, by the way,

That’s Matlack, with an ‘A,’

Not an ‘O,’

Like That Other Old Guy

On TV.”

What a Sense of Humor Our Rufuz Has,

And What a Terrific Comic Book Writer!

This doesn't seem like the Miss Susan I know!

The one I know hands out cookies and jam with those little sprinkly things on the top. Maybe there's two of them.

I hear doppelgangers are popular this season. We bought one on-line from JC Penny. And it runs for a week on only three AA batteries.

I am flying down to investigate this immediately.

Between Edward Exasperated and Matlack the sleuth, not to mention Rufuz the Snout, our latest new welcome addition Miss Susan, will have her hands full, and plenty to be going on with, in our adventurous and bold DPS Comics Series..

Susan, our Georgian Belle will be a most welcome and gracious member
of our elite Ghost Summer Cruise..

What a ball we have in store here !

Very cool and sassy graphic !
