A truer poem was never written. Love and lust are like day and night. Lust is never a good thing if you accept the true meaning of it--using someone to satisfy your own needs. Excellent poem, Eileen.

Eileen this packs a beautiful punch. It's tone and meter is perfect. I have saved it and am so tempted to send it to someone!! ...with the intention of it landing right between their eyes, knocking 'em for six and...well to be honest, I so wish I had written it! Superb poetry. Love Panda :)

And RIGHT on the button, Eileen! Candid with no-messin. You and me seem to be on the same page today... albeit coming from totally different angles and with differing material. You certainly know your stuff when it comes to the "L"-word; whether you craft delicate curlicues of romance or sock it right between the eyes, gloves on or gloves off, your writing packs a powerful message. And this is a great example. LOL Kate xx
