As Roses Wilt, Memories Strive

shhhhh...

Curtains swaying in the first breeze of fall

A weak scent of rose blossoms last few days

Cotton sheets and feather pillows flattened

Last goodbye to those fleeting summer ways

Arms entwined on sweat bodies rapid drying

Smiles of contentment flows her soul to sleep

Naked like a child birthed to mother’s arms

Kisses on your forehead, tender joys I reap

Just two heart’s memories trapped immortal

Imprinted on the cover of my immortal heart

Love danced to a sensual waltz of joining

Entwined forevermore…we shall not part

Once the heart has been seduced...nothing much will ever fade that beautiful moment that will float up whenever the memory is seduced once again. That, alone, keeps me going too.
Great warm feeling so, I thank you sweet Fee.
