Robert Frost

You gave the world a poem
Stars with brilliance
A moon with a man
You gave lover's the song
The heartbeat between every word
You gave an infant a smile
Cotton candy breaths
Small fingers entwined with a wrinkled hand
You gave color... technicolor
Dancers floated above the room
Creatures wooed and feathers froze in flight
Songs drifted over the mounatins
Voices rose to be heard around the world
You made Peace more than just a word
A Poet enhances living
Then gives it more depth to understand
Life much better.
A poet indulges faith
Spirituality is defined for a unified knowledge
For poets... God is their light
Their indulgence in love.

A magnificent tribute, Susan -- is there anything you can't write about and make it real? I so admire your talents and aspire to write as well.

Just excellent!

I have one of his masterful quotes on my bio-page.

Belle ... this was a poignant reminder of our blessed predessors and the influence, and expertise, they brought to a very arcane craft, misunderstood by too many and embraced by too few.

Kudos ...

Great tribute to Mr. Frost, Susan. He spoke to the masses, not just the intellectuals, full of homespun wisdom and keen observation.

I've often taken the road less travelled, though not in all things, perhaps I've still a lesson or two to learn from him. Excellent tribute to a most profound poet. Pierre.

Can't recall any of Frost's poems. Will have to look them up tomorrow to get a better understanding of this poem. Each poet has an outlook on life that one can agree with or disagree and love is certainly in every poets vocabulary.

Precious Sis ((Susan )), God the imagery that comes from your muse is extraordinarily beautiful~~ Some have it in this world for several kinds of writing ..Some don't know how to write..You have the gift...I say a soul has to peel the layers of the soul to get to the limb out on the tree..The furnace of affliction did my soul good, for it molded me like the potter carved my diamond of my soul..Excelent imagery. Out standing.. I am still in complete intercession for you and your precious mom, healing, blessings~~~
