I like your inspirational flow here. I too like to take a picture and write what first comes to mind. Yes, there is always a good story or question behind every picture.
Thanks for sharing your work Kate.

I still contend that with a redwood approach deck, wheels on it to transport it to different locales, no vessels anchored in proximity, and more, perhaps, Scots Pine Trees or Poderosa's proliferating all around, that this would be quite the romantic place for a writer to pursue her visions.

Your work might sometimes glean inspiration from that of others--as most of us sometimes do--but the bold deep dive you take into creative waters and the treasures you bring back are always distinctly, brilliantly, and beautifully your own. This glittering gem no exception:-)

Whatever floats your boat, Kate, DO IT!!! Yes I do believe I could live with you there...have to start fermenting the elixir in the amphorae now...it should be ready in six months...stretch a balloon over the top of the jug and when it blows up and pops, the vino is ready for the party! I'll pour yours first, it doth have a kick-ass bite that'll take ya outta debt and bear it, wear it, help it or hack it, it'll sure cure what ails ya. Blessed Be, my trolly girl

Your words and the cozy look of the boat makes the reader really want to be there. Thanks for your comments on my poem, I can tell you know Andy well, lol! It's like you knew exactly what I mean, lol-thanks for keeping him straight over there and reminding him how much i love him-love, Michelle |
