a bad love affair ends

Unseen:

I will vanish like I was never there.
You will look for me but I will not be seen.
The places of the past are simply that, the past.
Some will ask, but you will know nothing.

Some will say they saw me but know nothing of where I am.
Every person we ever knew together will wonder, but I will not be seen.
Many things will remind you but they will pass like the shadows of our time.
You will hear laughter but it will not be mine.

In time the memory will fade into a shadow and be seen only in ones own mind.
In the darkness when you close your eye’s I will be there only.
Like reflections in a mirror that fades, we vanish.
Like the things you gave me I leave you with nothingness.

When you look for answers, look to ones self for I will not answer.
You will wonder, you might search, but I will not be found.
Like a summer breeze turns to fall and then to winter, cold.
Like the fallen we turn to dust.

You will see a person from a distance and look closer but it will not be me.
Things will appear to remind but when you look closer I am gone.
You will smell my perfume on another and remember my kiss.
The seasons will pass, holidays fly by, birthdays you might remember, but I will not be seen.

You wanted to be alone and now you are.
You were selfish and now you have only yourself.
On thing remains, we will never forget.
Good bye my love.

Maxi
