~~For Those That Are In Pain...I've Been There~~
being in pain
wake up yet again
hurting from head to my toes
guess it's more tylenol i suppose
to try to ease the pain
the stress is numbing my brain
i went to the doc for some relief
with him i have a major beef
psychological help he says i need
"it's all in your head," indeed!!
all i want is to be pain free for a time
what's wrong with that? is that a crime??
i'm not a drug addict...tylenol & motrin don't work
why does he treat me like i'm some kind of jerk??
being in pain
IS a pain!!!!

I know where you're coming from...I live with pain 24/7. I have been told more times to just "learn to live with it." How can you learn to live with it when it affects every facet of your life???

| I too live with it 24/7 I have tried everything, eventually the only real help and I know it's trite to some and many don't want ot hear it, but God is the only one who can truly relieve pain. He may not take it away completely, but he will give you what you need to get through. I say that from experience. pain pills only cause more problems...itching...constipation, kidney and liver problems sleeplesssness. Iv'e been there done that ,and believe me even my pains have pains...;-)Only He helps for real... |

| What happened to the doctors that would make house calls look at you and be able to tell you whats wrong. Now a days they have all this hitech stuff and they can't diagnose a cold. Its all money to them now |

Hi Karla,
Believe me I understand completely and feel for you. If I get 4 hours a night I'm lucky. I was told to do eveything from deep breathing exercises to taking a walk in the woods!Pretty hard to do when your joints don't have much cartiledge left. AND Advil doesn't work either! We are trying to get something done about it now. Keep sticking in there and hang on. Gregg |

| I'm sorry that you must go through this pain. Regardless of the cause or reason, it is real. I am not in defense of Doctors. But you must understand that pain is one of the most difficult and challenging complaints to treat. If a root cause is not located it will baffle and frustrate most doctors as well. No matter what tests they give they still do not necesarily show up and it is hard to diagnose the source of pain. The patient is usually examined as if they were on a "lazy susan" so that eventually a doctor will see things in a different light. Something the other doctors did not see. It is a matter of hunting down that particular doctor that will find it and treat it accordingly. |

Krisie and Karla {{{{{{{{ hugs }}}}}}}
More reason why I really feel a need to get education out to the docs. Am tired of educating them myself with my illnesses. Heck, they don't pay me enough to do that. <smile> Karla, if you will e-mail me your home address I can send you an informative pamphlet on FMS etc. ALso I don't remember if I sent you info on different websites as well as books to look at. If not let me know and I will. ok?
Love and Light
