You Are...

(Inspired by Oprah Winfrey and her giving of new homes to Hurricane Katrina victims 8/29/06)
copywritten poem

You Are…

You are what words can not express
You give your absolutely best
You love without prejudice and without condition
To touch others lives is your God given mission

Without respect of persons or color of skin
You bless all walks of life and they call you friend
Your heart is as an open door that is inviting to all who enter
And everyone that walks in discovers that you are more than a mentor

You are one with a purpose that flows like the river deep
A person of valiance and a promise to keep
And that is to touch and encourage all walks of life
To give hope and inspiration beyond ones misery and strife

You cease to amaze those that have followed your works
No doubt covered by God and shunned from where evil may lurk
Some call you an earth angel, a motivator and superstar
But I call you a woman of virtue and a gift from God because that is what you are.

Thanks very much sister in Christ. We are all us and one under God and put here to do the same thing, all of us. We must stick together and stand up for our doings in Christ's Name. AMEN
