A Liquid Heart

I hope this is okay with you

When melodies of blue make me cry

And tears like water and Ice....

Just roll from my liquid heart & face

Liquid it would forever be I guess

No matter how hard you try or stress

You change the form of it

Warm when done with love

But icy

When the heart is sad

I hope this is okay with you

(When my poem

My Secret Wounds) comes to me

When I try to tuck my tears away

The reality of it all

Comes up to show face

And only for a fleeting moment

I would see your face

I hope this is okay with you

When forgotten

And love makes me cry

These tears like water and Ice....

Just roll from my face

And without reason

I cry again

Tinks ...

Such rivers run in you. Deeply and with such feeling. The heart of a woman is a delicate thing that is easily wounded or joyed. I agree with Felix - you are a rare romantic, one that can connect with everything she feels in words.

Your friend ...
