“On Me"

He was on top of me
He was kissing on my breast

My head was spinning
All I could see but a ceiling

I tried to close my eyes
To block it out and deny

I could not feel
Not move my body
There was no pleasure
In this act of sex
I was the entertainment
The source, looks and excitement

He was lying on me
His flesh was on my legs
He on me
Kissing my mouth

At this moment
I did not care

I did not know if I would die
And I did not have the will to survive

I could not fight and I could not run
My body was the only fun
I want to remember and I tried to forget

My head I turned to face
Flowers, by the bed, in the vase
My soul in total despair
On my body
And no repair

A poem written about a woman being raped. As a man we can never feel the actual pain a woman experiences. We can however see the emotional scars it leaves on those we love.
