Baby Sister

My baby sister falls a lot.
I see how sad she feels.

Why don't baby sisters
come with training wheels?

Too cute but sounds like it is the voice of a little girl for sure and a little girl's logic. Well done.

Just delightfully seen through the eyes of a sibling...and it makes so much sense....all the perfect words have been taken, CJ...but I remember my own training wheels and two little brothers who had none.

Falling a lot early on is good training for the many "falls" she must take throughout her life. I know you didn't mean this to be serious, but . . .

You know CJ, If you really, really, really try, I think someday you will master the art of writing from a child's point of view. Oh, and thanks, when I read this I snorted pepsi all over my screen. Who's going to clean up this mess. This little short ditty packs a real big punch. Brilliant

Excellent question but I think this applies to life also. " Why doesn't life come with training wheels?" I guess it's all by trial and error.

I wondered this about my daughter when she was a toddler, I didn't know if I would ever see her without bruises or bangs and bumps, you may have to put a patent on your idea for training wheels....Cute write and so much said in a few words...I love your children's poetry.

Oh this is so cute and I know it hurts you to see her fall. I have a 3 year old and really hate to see him fall. He has been walking since he was nine months. He was and still is so little. you know.
