There is a crimson stain in the forest
of my dreams

That flows in the rain then seeps into a
forgotten stream

Where creatures are trying their best at
eluding

What man in his vain effort to survive
is denuding

My love and I begin a combined celestial flow of meditations

We express our hopes to creations audience with incantations

It seems the birds join me as I start my
deep woods chant

We are so deeply touched the trees look like mendicants

So many wonderful odd creatures in forests do dwell

Some of them look like they come straight from hell

Feeling most primeval we go into our tent for the night

Entwined in each others arms we can't help but hold tight

There is a crimson stain in the forest
of my dreams

That flows in the rain then seeps into a
forgotten stream~

Eileen,
That picture is fantastic. What color and beauty nature gives us.
Your poem is sad in the needless destruction of that beauty.

What an awesome line! Every time I see a deer in the road, i hold up traffic until it can get back on the side, that goes for anything in the wild. I am so tired of watching man keep on building and taking thier homes away. It seems to me there are enough shopping centers and condos to house China already! Great poem !!
