A POEM OF FORGETFULNESS
I forget vividly, when I forget.
If it was a word, I dismember it, letter by letter
more and more lucid and in bold, until of it
nothing remains, except never having been
If it was a letter, I dismember it, name by name
less and less felt in the lucidity of the bold
until of it nothing remains; not even
in vague symbol, what could have been
actually an initial.
And if it was a beginning, I dismember it;
until of it nothing remains, but, element by element
less and less coherent and thus, more and more lucid
the wholeness of never having been the actual beginning
of anything (word, letter, or name) except of this
In bold, clear: THE END

As hosts and editors of OneLight*® Authors & Creations, Joseph and I wish to thank you all for the warm welcome offered to our dear friend and fellow poet Jorge Vicente, from Portugal. He is delighted and deeply grateful for your kind comments, and we are thrilled for him – his humility is as great as his poetry is magnificent!
Jorge has just let us know that he has joined Authors Den, and is now organizing his space here, so, very soon, we will all be able to enjoy his masterful poetry more regularly, in his own den!
Again, thank you, from the heart!
