A poem to let you know old age isn't so bad.In fact, I like it.

Just Waiting

I like the view through my window pane,

I wish that you could see

The street and gardens in the rain;

(Not often just now and again, )

and the Jacaranda tree.

 I love that moon, big and shiny

 just before the dawn;

The magic in the sky I see

(when a strange light awakens me)

 very early in the morn.

Many years ago, before I had a dime,

 My view was city walls,

It has been a long long time,

 (but now, at long last I'm)

 waiting in a heaven  until God calls.

That's all Folks

So nice to have a place called home--and love being there!
And so wonderful to be content, even happy, with the stage of life where you are.
It does look like a beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing it!

Beautiful sentiment and a heartfelt write...I think when we are saved and ready to meet the Lord and make heaven our home, it does make life easier. Live life to it's fullest everyday for God has a purpose for you to be here each day that you live. Today one purpose was this beautiful poem...I enjoyed this very much, made me think of my grandmother...
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling
